Uncle Nate Is a ROCK STAR!

While Steve attended his first official weekend of National Guard duty, Saylor and I headed with our "Urban Family" for a wonderful weekend in Vail, Colorado. Thanks to Reghan and John for letting us stay at their family's beautiful mountain home!! In addition to Reghan and John (soon-to-be parents of a BABY GIRL!!) the gang included Tonie, Nate, Amy, Jeff and the almost-1-year-old Rocco! While Rock Band was a feature attraction, Nate was the true rock star. Without snowshoes, he pulled Saylor on a chariot up a hill and through some odd snow drifts with no stumbles and just a little heavy breathing. Thanks, Uncle Nate!! The day before was Nate's birthday ... we enjoyed a lasagna dinner, cake and watching Nate open some rather peculiar gifts. The photo speaks for itself:
