It's been a looong two weeks for Steve (and for me!). He left Oct. 22 for a 2-week training course at Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. Bohdy wasn't even two weeks old when he left and today Big Bohd is FOUR WEEKS OLD! I know Steve can't wait to see him and Saylor. I can't wait to see if Steve thinks Bohdy's grown a lot. I see the little guy every day so I notice some extra padding here and there but he still looks pretty small to me. The things I notice are his personality and how much calmer he is when getting his diaper changed and all his measurements taken each day. He used to cry like a little goat but now he just lays there and looks at you with the sweetest big eyes. And he loves his pacifier. He's going to be like his big cousin, Keely Rhea!!
I'll be so thankful to have Steve home so Saylor doesn't have to be shuffled around so much. Thank goodness for my mom (thank you, Gramma!!!!) and all our great friends (Kirsten, Melissa, Amy & Jeff, Tonie & Nate...and others who offered!). Since no kids are allowed in the hospital due to the flu outbreak, I have had to find people to watch Saylor on the weekends and evenings while I go to the hospital to be with Bohdy. She's been a trooper, but she and all of us will be so relieved when our whole family is all together under one roof.
Grow, Bohdy, Grow...we want to bring you home!!! Here's a picture of Steve holding Bohdy before he left:
