Today Bohdy weighs 3 pounds 5.6 ounces ... that's just .4 ounce away from him officially being a pound over his birth weight of 2 pounds 6 ounces! He's putting on noticeable weight every day now. I just learned today that when he hits 1800 grams (roughly 4 pounds), he gets to be moved out of his isolette, his plastic dome-like enclosure (a.k.a. his 'power dome' thanks to Amy F.), and will be in an open crib like the rest of the babies here.
And an update on our other "baby" ... Saylor has been the absolute best kid during this whole ordeal. She talks about her "baby brother" all the time even though she has only met him once for 5 minutes. Steve and I both agree that the cutest thing ever is hearing Saylor say "Bohdy." I've been so proud of her and how mature she's acted. We're doing her birthday party next weekend (a month early but that way we can have kids over, because we won't be able to once Bohdy comes home). She really has no idea about the party so it will be fun to see her eyes light up when she realizes what's going on. :-)
